Solution 1: Check your Internet Connection
First of all, you need a stable internet connection to play music on the Spotify app. In case you have poor internet connectivity on Roku, Spotify will respond slowly, and it will take a long time to load the music. So, check your internet connection on Roku with the steps mentioned below:
1. From the Roku home screen, select the Settings option.
2. Next, scroll down and select the Network option.
3. Choose the About option and check the status of your internet connection.
Note: In case your internet connection is weak, follow Solution 2 to fix the issue. Otherwise, go to Solution 3.
Solution 2: Restart your Router
If you face any issues with your internet speed, you need to fix the issue immediately. Otherwise, you can’t stream the songs on the Spotify app properly.
1. Unplug the Power Cable of the Router connected to the Power supply.

Solution 5: Update your Roku Device

Solution 6: Remove Spotify and Add it again
There can be some bugs in the Spotify app while installing, so you have to delete the app on Roku and reinstall it to fix the issue.
1. Press the Home button on your Roku device.
2. Select the Spotify application.
3. Press the Asterisk (*) button on your Roku remote.
4. Select the Remove Channel option. This removes the Spotify app on your Roku.
After that, follow the steps below to add the Spotify channel once again.
1. Go to the Roku home screen and select the Steaming Channels option.
2. Locate and select the Search Channels option.
3. Search for Spotify and choose the same app from the search result.

Solution 7: Check your Account Details
One of the many reasons might be that your subscription validity may have expired. You may not have noticed that. So, double-check your Spotify premium account and try again logging in to your account. Anyhow you can renew the Spotify music subscription anytime you want.

Solution 8: Restart Roku
Restarting Roku is another working method that you can follow to remove the errors or bugs on your Roku device.
1. Select Settings from the Roku home screen.
2. Now, choose the System option.
3. From the System section, scroll down and click on System Restart.
4. Select the Restart option.
Again select the Restart option from the prompt to restart your Roku device. After that, your Roku device will turn off and again turn on automatically.
