Roku has been one of the dominant streaming services because of its clean and user-friendly experience. Not just that, Roku even provides some subtle user-friendly features which make the experience far more convenient. For example, one of the features that Roku has released is the Private Listening on Roku. This is one of the features that rival even the likes of Apple’s airplay in some ways. By that comparison, some of you might have already understood what kind of feature it is. For the rest, it is a feature that lets you play the audio of the content you are watching on the TV.
This is a great feature if you are not living alone and don’t watch to disturb people near you. Also, it is an obvious fact that not everyone possesses top-of-the-line Soundbars. Using Roku Voice Remote
Now, as we have been told, the Roku Private listening can be done via two methods. Those are either by Your Roku voice remote or by your Roku mobile app. In this section, we are going to try using The private listening feature using your Roku voice remote.
Now using Private listening via this method is quite simple compared to the mobile app. By following the steps mentioned below, you will be able to use this feature.
[1] The first step is to locate the built-in headphone jack on the side of the remote.
[2] Next, plug in headphones or earphones of your choice firmly. If done properly, you will see a headphone icon appear on your TV. This icon is proof that Private listening is now active.
[3] Now try streaming a show or movie or any content of your liking, and the private listening will do its magic.
[4] If you want to disable this feature, all you have to do is remove the headphone or earphone plug, and the logo from the TV will disappear hence showing that the feature is automatically turned off.
